Niger State: Dantata and Sawoe Commence work on Minna – Bida Road

Dantata and Sawoe, the company handling the work on Minna-Bida Road have commenced Construction work on the 82km road. The Minna-Bida Road which for years has been unmotorable is getting the long-needed rehabilitation.
The road is key to socio-economic development, not only of Niger state but of Nigeria as a whole as it’s one of the roads that link the inter-state traveled from the north to the south western part of the country. Despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Niger State government will continued to prioritize ongoing projects and ensure they continue.
This decision was taken following a meeting which was chaired by the Chief of Staff to the governor, Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Kagara last week in Minna, the meeting was convened in order to find safe ways projects across the state will continue while still adhering to safety measures put in place to curtail the spread of the deadly COVID19 Virus and ensure contractors go back to their respective sites.
The Adminstration of Governor Abubakar Sani Bello Will continue to prioritize people oriented projects most especially capital projects for the socio economic development of the state.
