DO YOU AGREE? Hype Men Should Be Banned In Niger State Club (See Why)

I’m of the opinion that Hypemen in big Nigerian clubs should be banned indefinitely.

Originally, a hype man, in hip hop music and rapping, is a backup rapper and/or singer who supports the primary rappers with exclamations and interjections.

A hypeman attempts to increase the audience’s excitement with call-and-response chants.

But reverse is the case in Nigeria. Hypemen in Niger State club extort money from people through unnecessary hype. They’d make you spend more than you should or budgeted for.
