COVID19: Niger State Quarantine Ready Patients

The Niger State Ministry of Health has announced that the Niger State Quarantine Centre, behind Police Secondary School Minna has started receiving suspected COVID-19 cases as the arrangement of bed spaces is ongoing.

The quarantine center is designed to serve as a precautionary measure to contain the spread of the outbreak and manage the burden on the state’s healthcare systems should a spike in infections occur. The center will accommodate suspected cases, people who have to self isolate because they are showing symptoms of COVID-19 or because they have contact with those who tested positive for COVID-19 as the state continues the battle against coronavirus.

The facility will provide all the necessary clinical services as well as having some comfortable amenities.
