The Emir of Kontagora, Alh. Saidu Namaska, has passed away.
Namaska, who is one of Nigeria’s most prominent traditional rulers, died in the early hours of Thursday, September, 9.
According to family sources, the Emir died in Kontagora.
He will be laid to rest later today according to Islamic rites.
May his soul rest in peace.
